Jawa 42 Bobber Launched In India

Taking factory custom in India to the next level, Jawa Motorcycles has launched the 42 Bobber at a price of INR 2.07 Lakh. The Jawa 42 Bobber is based on the same platform as the Perak with few ergonomic and electronic upgrades. It is the second Bobber in Jawa's line-up after the Perak.In terms of design, the motorcycle looks completely different from the regular Jawa 42. The 42 Bobber gets a new round headlamp, a fully digital LCD instrument cluster, LED lighting all around, chopped-up fenders, a 2-step adjustable single seat, bar-end mirrors, fat tyres and dual-channel ABS.Powering the Jawa 42 Bobber is the same liquid-cooled, 334cc single-cylinder engine making 30.64hp and 32.64Nm of torque as the Perak. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox.Jawa claims that the suspension settings have been revised to provide better comfort to the rider. The 42 Bobber also gets spoked wheels with tube tyres.The 42 Bobber is offered in three colours: Mystic Copper, Moonstone White and Jasper Red.
